How do I find someone in town who will deliver and install the unit? I enjoyed the information on your site, it opened my eyes but I'm confused about the "how" to get the tubs and how much it costs to install it. This may be a question outside your sites focus but I thought if anyone was reading this page and knew (I'm in san diego california) of a good store locally please offer your advise.

When my husband finally broke down and let me replace the tub with a handicap bathtub my life changed. Getting in and out of the tub was difficult, but getting my new tub wasn't as easy as I thought. I had wanted one of these for a while and didn't realize they were making literally dozens of models with features I don't imagine I could ever use, but I found one place that custom built them, it had to be inexpensive, my hubby is a tight wad with money, but I found a very basic model that he agreed he liked too... if it weren't for the websites I'd of never found out about this, our local store didn't carry these at all but an intown business that operates only online did.. great info

My dad has been disabled for about 10 years now thanks to several car accidents and being thrown down some stairs by accident causing him permanent nerve damage. I can attest to his happiness with the advent of these handicap bathtubs, they come with handrails so you don't fall, slip resistant flooring (permanent not the kind that can come off), and the unit can be used as a shower or bathtub, either way it is designed for someone who can't get over the normal tub hurdle that many of us take for granted. My dad loves his tub, (and we're all grateful for this invention!)
